Private Art Tuition since 2001

In addition to my full time post as the High School Visual Art Teacher and head of the Visual Arts Department at the International School of Port-of-Spain, I also offer local secondary students private art tuition on weekends. In these Saturday afternoon classes,  which I have offered for over 17 years, I teach secondary school students enrolled in the Caribbean, British and Canadian curricula, using individual lesson plans which are crafted for each student’s educational needs. These lessons function as either the sole source of instruction for students’ wishing to pursue accreditation outside of traditional school programs, or to supplement their art education in public and private schools by helping prepare them for local and internationally recognized examinations or curricula.

Notable alumni include Anya Ayoung-Chee, Laura Narayansingh, Lisa See Tai, Kathy Norman, Karen Norman and Tara Keens Douglas, all of whom have become prominent members of local and international fine arts and related communities.
